Commercial Description:
Mill St Belgian style Wit is a refreshing beer made with a unique blend of ingredients. The soft texture and pale colour comes from the use of wheat. Coriander, orange peel and our special yeast produce the complexity and depth of fruity flavours contained within the glass. This beer is unfiltered. The resulting cloudiness gave rise to the term Wit, or White beer

Very nice wheat beer, first sampled at the 2007 London Beer Festival. Orange zest and spice flavours, very nice. (341ml bottle)

on tap at the brewery. huge white head sits on a murky yellow body. citris in the nose and banana. great wit flavours. mill street has crafted a beer true to the style with this one.<P>from the bottle it pours hazy yellow with a big white head. more citrus shows then in the draught form. still an excellent wit from the bottle but beter on tap.

I was not expecting this one to be as good as it was. Served with an anoyingly large orange slice but still a very smooth, citrusy beer. More yeast spice than traditional banana sweetness, but very smooth and yummy none the less.

Cloudy light golden poor with a thin frothy white head with good lacing. Aromas of lemon zest, coriander, bananas and a hint of vanilla... Very fresh aromas. Nice effervescence with a medium-light body. Chalky bitter feeling in mouth that is long lasting but enjoyable. Fresh fruity taste.

Golden yellow with a slight haze to it. Thin head that goes quick leaving a lace of white around the edge of the glass. Aroma is floral, not too strong. Flavour is fruity with a light grassy note bitters on the back of my tounge. Nothing to rave about.

bottle: Another over-rated Mill Street product, likely the most over-rated microbrewery in Ontario. This is very watery for a witbeer, and the flavours of orange peel & corriander do not come through. Give me a Molson bastardized Blue Moon anyday. There are way better imported wheat beers to try than this pedestrian brew: Hacker-Pschorr, Erdinger or even a Hoegaarden. Dont’ settle for this.

Bottle. Cloudy, very pale orange-yellow with small streaks of slow-moving carbonation and a thick, soapy white head with excellent lacing. Light aroma of clove and fresh dough which translates into the flavour. Definitely wheaty, dry and spicy in the finish with a pleasant sweetness. Clean-tasting, nothing jumps out especially. Works for me.
