Oct 11, 2007 (Bottle) Pours black. Roasted coffee bean aroma with hints of green pepper, chilly, gravel, minerals and parsley. Also some dark syrup and dark bread. Just a touch of liquorice. Coffee beans/espresso in the flavour with hints of green pepper, chilly, gravel, minerals and parsley. Undertones of anise. Dryish and roasted finish. Medium bitter. Medium bodied. A nice coffee porter.

Sep 27, 2007 (Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 22 Sep 2007) Black colour with brief brown head. Roasted nose with distinct notes of heavily roasted coffee. Roasted taste with coffee, chocolate and hints of sweetness. Fairly thin. A bit one-dimensional, but if you like your coffee roasted, it’s a nice beer.
