Jun 30, 2007 draft at volo in toronto. feels like a very thin porter, the aroma is coffee as advertised, but the thin bodied doesn’t go with the style.

Jun 24, 2007 Bottle, purchased at the brewery. Black, stout-like appearance. Enticing coffee aroma supported by dark malts and burnt wood. Nice coffee flavour gets progressively more bitter as it evolves. Smooth palate. Dominates most foods but would have been alright with steak. Not as much length or complexity as there could be, but enjoyable nevertheless.

Jun 4, 2007 12 oz bottle thanks to blankboy. Very classic porter flavors and aromas. More coffee maybe than a classic porter, but still a very good example of a porter.

Jun 3, 2007 Bottle shared with toncatcher and fordest. Very dark brown with a decent foamy head. Smells of roasted chocolate and hints coffee. Decent taste of the same. Well done.
