Nice dark colour, but disappointing in the head and lace department. Flavour is very nutty, but none of the coffee really comes through. Swift, dark chocolate finish. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 13, 2008 341 ml bottle thanks to my Secret Festivus partner. Pours a very dark brown that allows a deep ruby red glow to come through when held against the sun. Moderate bubbly tan head that disappeared after the first sip. The aroma of fresh coffee was noticed immediately when I opened the bottle. Some roasted malt in the aroma as well. The coffee is less noticeable in the flavor and is supplimented with some tobacco and roasted malt. Some coffee bitterness at the finish, which is where the coffee flavor is most noticeable. Medium bodied. As a side note, nice bottle design; has a throw-back look to it. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Aroma, big coffee nose with some fruits, chocolate and roasted notes. Flavor, buttery, some coffee, chocolate, fruity notes, roasted bitterness on the end. Acknud (792), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA

Aroma of coffee and roasted malt. Taste is heavy on the coffee and chocolate. I could definitely drink this again! Thanks HogTownHarry
