Commercial Description:
A pale (Helles in German, orange colour), strong German lager brewed with 100% Organic malt and hops. A great big white head gives way to a sweet maltly note which is quickly followed by the aroma of alcohol. A rich malty flavour with hints of current and oranges is found on the first sip. The hops have a gentle bitterness to balance the malt. The alcohol is not a dominate flavour, but you certainly feel it after a glass or two.

Slight aroma of apples mixes with lots of grains and thick malts. The flavor is bang on for the style! Lots of great bready stick malt and some flight alcohol notes. Finish is a little more of the apple with more bready malt. S great lager, I wish I could buy it in sixers!

Pours a nice clear deep golden with a thick white head. A good looking beer. Smells citrusy, bready and somewhat hoppy. Tastes malty and nutty upfront, and finishes nutty and hoppy with some citrus. This is very drinkable stuff and really smooth, a very good representation of the style, although there are many better ones...

355 ml bottle from Seasonal Sampler. Pours a clear gold with small white head. Aroma of bread, caramel and fruit. Flavour is very malty/grainy with caramel, fruit and wood. Mild, dry bitterness in finish. Nicely crafted beer.

355 ml bottle from the seasonal mixed 6. pours deep golden with a small white head and minimal carbonation. aroma of apple, pale malt, slightly sweet. the flavour is bang on for the style. big malty lager with barly noticeable hops and some alcohol. mill street nailed this style. its too bad only one beer gets rotated in these 6ers cause both the pils and helles bock are awesome. wish i could buy it in singles.

355 ml bottle - pours a clear deep gold with a nice thick white head that slowly diminishes into a cm surface barrier which lasts. Aroma sweet grain, malt, a bit of fruitiness. Slight white grape in the flavour, grainy, earthy. A touch of alcohol at the back end, but certainly not intrusive. The beer’s downfall is the aggressive carbonation level, almost pop-like, and sharp. A decent effort.

On tap at Mill Street Brew Pub. Pretty straight-forward lager appearance. Decent floral hop aroma. Some bitterness and prominent hops, with an interesting hoppy finish, perhaps a little boozy? Solid overall, though I don’t know how much of it I’d want to drink.

15 oz pint at the brewpub. Pours a nice light golden with a thin head. Aroma is slight cleanser, white wine, and some acetaldehyde, also some ok pils bready malts and a light spicy hop. Flavor is ok moderate bready malts, slightoy burnt toast, and more cleanser and white wine solvent- maybe lines were just cleaned? Ok overall but couldnt quite get past the solventy white wine thing.
