The flavor is bang on for the style! Lots of great bready stick malt and some flight alcohol notes. Finish is a little more of the apple with more bready malt. S great lager, I wish I could buy it in sixers! A good looking beer.
Smells citrusy, bready and somewhat hoppy.
Tastes malty and nutty upfront, and finishes nutty and hoppy with some citrus.
This is very drinkable stuff and really smooth, a very good representation of the style, although there are many better ones...

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 11, 2009 355 ml bottle - pours a clear deep gold with a nice thick white head that slowly diminishes into a cm surface barrier which lasts. Aroma sweet grain, malt, a bit of fruitiness. Slight white grape in the flavour, grainy, earthy. A touch of alcohol at the back end, but certainly not intrusive. The beer’s downfall is the aggressive carbonation level, almost pop-like, and sharp. A decent effort. AWS9 (231), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2009 On tap at Mill Street Brew Pub. Pretty straight-forward lager appearance. Decent floral hop aroma. Some bitterness and prominent hops, with an interesting hoppy finish, perhaps a little boozy? Solid overall, though I don’t know how much of it I’d want to drink. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 21, 2009 15 oz pint at the brewpub. Pours a nice light golden with a thin head. Aroma is slight cleanser, white wine, and some acetaldehyde, also some ok pils bready malts and a light spicy hop. Flavor is ok moderate bready malts, slightoy burnt toast, and more cleanser and white wine solvent- maybe lines were just cleaned? Ok overall but couldnt quite get past the solventy white wine thing.
