Smells exactly like it promises with tea bags and lemon. A bit too carbonated but very refreshing, lots of tea and citrus, bready, just a little bitter. Very nice. Aroma citrusy, fruit and some hops, which mingle nicely with the lemon. Flavour is very intriguing, and I was expecting the worst, but was pleasantly surprised. The malty full body of the black tea backs up the malt in the brew, and the acidity of the lemon complements the hop presence, so what at first seems like kind of a strange pairing is in fact a beautiful marriage. Delicate, near-cask carbonation, and silky body. Tannic bitterness from the tea also shine through in the finish. A surprising winner, and a wonderful candidate for a summer patio session ale. garthicus (1305), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Great taste - lemon and tea as advertised, but tea in a good way (i find many Ontario pale ales taste like tea ) - this tastes like a refreshing properly made unsweetened iced tea a bit. Very herbal. Very refreshing. A terrific unique creation and one of my highlights of the fest, although it divided opinion at our table. Spab (292), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 12, 2009 Draught at Volo. Pours a clear orange gold with average-sized, lacey white head. Fairly mild lemon and grassy aromas. Nice taste with lemon prominent but tea to moderate so that not too sweet. Crisp finish. Decent summer beer especially for a beautiful Friday on a patio. checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 22, 2009 Draft @ C’est What? (Toronto): Poured a hazy light amber with a nice head. The aroma was lemons. The flavor actually tasted like a lemon-tea. It was different, almost non-beer like. It was refreshing too. It was definitely outside the box. jerc (3945), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 13, 2009 2009-06-13. Lightly hazy amber, nice creamy off white head. (3+) Flavour is interesting, touch of peppery spice notes up front, light bitterness, muted lemon and tea, lemon grows, tea becomes more noticed as you go on but it still stays mostly in the background. Aroma is lightly lemony with a touch of mild lemon and tea. Lemon grows and develops as the glass warms up more. Average plus palate. Okay, kind of refreshing. Definitely leaves a bit of an iced tea impression. I would drink it again but would not likely buy it again. On tap, at Mill St, Toronto
