Taps a very nice opaque brown with a large mocha head. The aroma on this one is awesome! Roasty malts with coffee, out-done by sweet vanilla and cream, very nice. Flavour is very sweet, but not cloyingly sweet. Waves of malts, roasty, coffee, toffee, creamy, vanilla, and very smooth feeling. A tad bit of residual sugar in there too. Goes down easy for something so sweet, and I usually hate excessive sweetness in a beer. Everything blends really well in my opinion. Definitely one of my favourtie stouts I’ve tried. I have no idea why other people are finding this thin and light, it’s got plenty body, perhaps they’re put off by the sweetness or w/e. I love it. Wouldn’t drink boatloads of it in one sitting, though I can’t really think of any stout I would want to do that with. chops (60), Brantford, Ontario, Canada

Black body with a long-lasting creamy tan head. Milk chocolate roasted malt flavour has a long roasted finish. Full body has some rough bitterness. Tasty, and quite aptly named.

Aromas of espresso, roast and a slight sweetness. Flavour very nice - big roasted chewy malts, and bitter espresso upfront fading into sweet, faintly lactic middle and a long bitter hop finish. The only milk stout I’ve had, but I’m quite impressed. They got a lot of body and flavour into a 4.8% beer. Well done. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada

Flavour has coffee, cocoa, roasted malt, woody and nutty. Light bodied, very well balanced, quite bitter, sourish, a real treat. Very good. garthicus (1310), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Taste is decent - almost too sweet, otherwise comparable to their cobblestone. Decent, I always applaud a good take on the stout style in stout starved Ontario. pootzboy (1048), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada

A dark black color with a tight 2 finger tan cap....decent lacing.
Subtle aroma of sweetness, light mustiness, grassy hops.
Full bodied, rich cocoa-coffee tastes mingle with roasty malts and a modest sweetness, balanced well with some light bittering...the finish is roasty sharp and lightly bitter.
One of the better milk stouts I have tasted, lactose sweetness is detectable but subtle, very fresh, very approachable
