Commercial Description:
This continental lager has a deep golden hue, a giant rocky white head and a malty sweet nose. The first taste is sweet, but leads to a dry, hoppy bitter finish in the German Style. Mill Street Organic Pilsner is an excellent accompaniment to food or an excellent thirst quencher on its own.

Golden color, white head. Decent malt and hop balance overall, fairly light aroma. Light to medium bodied. Not bad.

Decent taste, a tad of fruit and medium mouthfeel. Bit of hoppiness. Another middling brew from these brewers. However, that’s it, flat in appearance and no aroma. Not bitter, therefore better than their organic pils.

On tap. If it wasn’t a bit flat, this would have been excellent. Crisp, refreshing, bitter enough on the front end but well balanced. Could use a bit more of the same, in the true Czech tradition, but for a homegrown organic pils, this was quite competent and enjoyable.

Draught. Pale, translucent golden colour. Crisp, hoppy aroma. Easy drinking taste, very light. Refreshing. An interesting organic beer which is far better than their organic lager.

Bright golden yellow w/ fluffy white head. Good carbonation. Clean, biscuity aroma w/ some light, fresh hops. Light, slightly grainy feel. Typical pilsener flavour w/ a fair amount of bitterness. Could be more assertive.

December 2006. Draught at the brewpub as Pilsener. Not sure if this is the same beer or not so I will enter this here for now. Crisp pale yellow, small white head and very nice lacing (3+). Very floral, lightly perfumey aroma of (saaz?) hops. Flavour starts with a light fruity sweetness and has a very floral flavour with mdoerate european hop bitterness. Average palate. A very solid pilsener, leaning towards to floral side of the equation, but not really to my tastes. 6+/3+/6/3+14 - 3.3 <P>June 2004 Bottle. Crisp pale yellow with a good sized white head and moderate lacing on the glass. Aroma is pleasantly hoppy but on the light side, with some nice floral notes. Flavour is light and clean, with a nice hoppy bitterness with European (presumably German?) hops. Could use a touch more malt in the background for my own liking. Nice beer. An yes Organic IS a plus! Made all the tastier enjoyed at work in the middle of the day. 6/3/6/3/13 - 3.1

Tasted in Toronto from the St. Lawrence Craft Beer Festival. Ohhhhh soooo organic. Give me a bloody brake No head. Straw nasty colour. Muted barley flavour, slight sweet taste....stale. Watery finish.

Medium, slightly fizzy head. Low carbonated gold brew. Slightly darker than most pilsners I had. Hoppy, clean nose, light malt content. Bitter at front medium bodied but still as I said hops are a bit overexposed here. Other than that nice pils.
