On tap at the brewpub. Reddish amber in color with a big off-white head. The bartender described it as such: "Basically the wit recipe with tons of raspberries." Works for me. Has a big candy-like raspberry aroma. Up front, there’s a big acidic tartness that segues into a strong raspberry fruit flavor without ever getting sweet! This is not a sour beer, just not as candy sweet as the aroma would suggest. Actually, there’s some biscuit to the aroma. So, this reminds me of a cobbler. This tastes very Belgian and is outstanding, as I really don’t care much for the style even.

A bit of pink in the ruddy looking amber orangy beer. Head had a bit of pink but was more so white. The aroma was weak with a little fruit but hardly noticeable. The flavour was equally as weak. The beer wasn’t offensive but it seems that there could be something added to it to perk it up. More raspberry would be nice but not to the point of being cloying.

Pink mucous-like, sampled at the brewpub. Neither bitter nor sweet, rather dry. Sugar, not getting the "rea raspberries" as marketed. Need a beer to wash away. Aroma of raspberry as ask in to some frozen soy concotion. Chick summer beverage for people who hate the taste of (macro-lager) beer.

On tap @ brewpub on 12/30/07...Red-brown color with a thick off-white head. Aroma is pure raspberry. Taste is the same, just a basic fruit beer. The berry flavor here is quite authentic and enjoyable, not medicinal like others of the style. Not bad.

Appearance :Clear ruby red with rocky top with middle fizz.
Nose:Aroma of sweet berry syrup , fruity summer style.
Flavour/Palate:
Light bodied. Clean fruit beer with solid raspberry notes. It is what it aimed to be. Summer fruit flavored brew.

Draught. Rich red body with brown accents and a small white head. Fragrant raspberry and strawberry seeds in the aroma. Thin body with cherry and raspberry flavour and some wheat-like properties lingering near the finish. I suppose this could be reasonably refreshing but it didn’t bring much to the table otherwise.

Tap GTA’s, @BeerBistro. Light aroma of raspberry, pink, with a small pinkish head. Soft taste of raspberry soda. Light bodied, sweet, syrupy. Fair.

Draught sample at the 2007 GTAs. Clear pinkish-amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is a bit soapy off the top, but that clears to reveal some raspberry notes that are restrained at first, but that open up as it warms. Body is thin, but works well with the flavour. Flavour is a nice combo of not-too-tart raspberry and light malt notes. Not bad at all.
