Commercial Description:
Formerly known as Sparkling Ale (6/05)
A golden export-style ale made from only malt and hops, no fillers or adjuncts. A brillant golden colour gives a “sparkling” appearance as the gas escapes from the glass. The natural sweetness of the malt is perfectly balanced by the bitterness derived from the hops. This beer represents the way blonde ales were made 100 years ago.

On tap at the brewery. A standard beer. Not exceptional in any way. Was slightly better than the Organic Lager, but only because it tasted like SOMETHING.

Mid-golden, mildly sparkling with a film & thick halo of white to cover. Cracked grain and herbal Hallertau aromas are mild yet enticing. Honey sweet & honey smooth. Nicely balanced with a bitter linger and a spritzy lift off the palate. Well-done.

bottle. Pours light yellow with a very small white head. bubbles linger near the top of the glass then vanish. Aromas of cotton candy with faintest trace of skunk. Flavours are mainly sweet but the sweetness fades to a strange metalic finish. This beer starts off very well with the look and aromas but falls a little short in the flavour department. Ill stick to Tankhouse ale from Mill Street but this is better then most.

Not good, not bad. A middle of the road type beer. Nothing worth going out of your way to try.

Deep golden, thin bubbly head. Aroma is briefly and faintly floral, the palate is bland and grainy, the finish is dry. Really just another pale lager.

Can anyone say Steelback. Bit of a nice foam white head. Thin copper. No real aroma. Sad soapy drain pour.

Slightly better than the Organic Lager, but still worthless. Not much malt or hop character to speak of.
