Commercial Description:
Like traditional pale ales, Tankhouse Ale has a deep copper-red colour. We use five different malts to produce a complex malty texture. The most dominant character of our Pale Ale is the hop. The spicy Cascades is used to give an assertive hop flavour, aroma and bitterness to our ale. The result is a satisfying and complex-tasting beer. Our brewmaster developed this recipe 20 years ago and it has remained his favorite drink of choice

Bottle from Duane, thanks Dad! Reddish/copper colored pour with a small white head and minimal lacing. Floral and brown sugar aromas. Some citrus hops and bready/caramel malts make this a rather balanced APA. Not a hop-bomb by any means, but a very drinkable offering from our friends up north.

Thanks for the bottle radiomgb. Pours a dark reddish amber with white head. Caramel, grapefruit, bitter hops, lemon citrus, bready malt, and light fruit. Medium mouthfeel. Pretty tasty pale ale.

On tap at the brewery. Deep amber colour with a small white head. Aroma of caramel is reflected in the body, which also packs a nice level of bitterness. Bready aftertaste with dried fruits.

dark amber in color; minimal head and aroma. strong initial caramel taste that trails off into fairly predominant hops and an almost dark chocolate finish. This was definitely a tasty surprise.

This is a great, light summer beer. Nice full body. Pours orangy-amber. It has a citrus nose, and has an almost sangria-like taste to it. Truly unique. Truly tasty.

341ml bottle.
Pours a clear dark amber with a large fluffy tan head. Leaves lots of lacing. Earthy aroma with hints of citrus, toffee and hops. Medium body with a sIlky and slick mouth feel. Taste is roasty and malty. A little chocolate coffee finish as it warms. Slight bitterness to balance it out. Nice beer.

Gorgeous pour: "deep copper red" as the brewery says but also has a thick head. Tantalizing hoppy nose and a balanced malty body. Slightly fizzy mouthfeel but nice balance. A brilliant session beer.

0.34 l bottle. Copper-amber color. Sweetish flowery and lemony aroma. Malty and hoppy flavor with catty-lemony hops and notes of salty minerals. Bittersweet finish. Good well made beer.
