As long as I have friends that continue to buy swill that I haven’t yet rated, I will continue to trade them a good beer for a rating opportunity. It’s oxymoronic to come up with sophisticated descriptors for a beer that can only just barely be classified as such. Nevertheless, here goes: light malt & grain in the nose (white bread?). Average-sized, frothy, off-white head with good lacing, though head is almost fully eroding. Clear, flat, yellow body. Short finish. Lightly carbonated. As long as there is an alternative available other than MGD or Bud Light, MGD Light will never touch my lips again. SudsMcDuff (1706), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

Taste of corn and malt. A thin light beer. A fair beer for a nice hot day. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 22, 2007 From a clear glass twist-off 12 oz. bottle, freshness date on the neck, sampled at a cold temperature in a pint glass.
Poured a clear pale, pale yellowish golden with a foamy white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing.
A faint and clean nose, mainly chalk, corn and cereal.
Active carbonation and crisp, dry and thin light bodied mouthfeel.
Easy to drink, inoffensive tasting, a bland and boring macro light lager, cereal grains and cornmeal, largely tasteless hops that provide a brisk bite towards the end, and a dry, slightly chalky, cornmeal finish.
A safe and predictable tasting light lager, nothing special, often on sale at the grocery stores in my area.
