The beer leaves the 12-ounce clear bottle a light yellow color with a modest frothy bright white head with the residual lace a thin sheet. Nose is malt, fresh and crisp, the start sweet with a light grain profile and the top skinny in feel. Finish is brisk in its acidity, the hops light and the aftertaste dry.

Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal), with a light note of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Well, what can you expect?

Very light in flavor but probably good to quench a summer thirst. If it were offered to me somewhere, I would drink a free one.

A patheticly bland, weak, and timid entry. Suitable perhaps, for patients recovering from surgery.

Had this only in the bottle form. Mostly in terrible bars. Much like the regular version but I guess "light," which means that it’s a little bit more watery with even (imagine that) less taste. I guess you’d drink it if you had to because it’s fairly inoffensive as it is designed to be.

Pretty watery. I had this and the MGD back-to-back and besides being lighter in feel I really think they gave up what little flavor they had to make this a light. The MGD wasn't all that offensive, and neither is this, just really bland and watery.

Tastes just like the regular MGD. Smooth and has no real character. Surprise.

how.could i of forgotten mdg light? it's a classic, a fine brew that will survive the test of time.. as in if you find one that's been sitting under the couch for 2 years, it won't effect the (lack of)taste...
