I liked the brownish-red look and foamy tan head of this beer. The aroma was nice and malty with some good roasted malt tones to it. Good in the mouth, if slightly watery, with rich roasted malt flavors, caramel, and a nice hop counterbalance. Robust malty finish.

Dark amber color with a modest off-white head. Pale malt and light fruit scents. Flavors match the aromas. Likely the best of the ones I’ve tried from here.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated copper colored body. The mild aroma was brown malt and malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The thin flavor contained notes of hops brown malt and mild astringency. Not one that I would likely buy again.

Amber color with no head. Oh man... aroma and taste are just like soiled cardboard from a kennel that they wrung out into the fermenters. Ugh.

Draft at Millrose Restaurant, South Barrington, IL. Small white head with good retention, transparent copper body, no carbonation noted, and one ring of lacing. The aroma was malty, sweet and lightly hoppy. Ditto for the flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth and this is a light bodied beer. Drinkable, but not outstanding.

Draught: Faint aroma of Marsalla wine. Poured golden in color with a small white head that diminished. No lacing. Clear. Sparkling. Malty flavor. Not well balanced malt and hops. Light body. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Sweet malt finish. Poor brew.
