Golden amber coloured seasonal with plenty of fruitiness and hops. Some slight bitterness and dryness in the finish.

Oct 28, 2004 Bitterish beer with a strong fruitiness in the flavour although the finish is pure bitterness and hop. Lots of malty body too, well brewed beer. (Cask at Nottingham Beer Festival)

Oct 15, 2004 A new brewery for me, but the beer was rather a disappointment. To be fair, this was the first day of the festival and, in my opinion, the beer was not really ready. The colour is regulation amber/copper. It had a rather clammy, moist hop aroma and the flavour was dominated by dull, cereally malt. Flabby finish. Not impressed. Just hope I can find it somewhere else to re-evaluate. Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival.
