Millstream Doppel Ganger

From the Festival of Iowa Beers, rich buttery brew with bright copper color, flavor was butterscotch (but in a good way), sweet and malty, very rich.

Draught at 2nd Annual Festival of Iowa Beers. Special brew described by one of the brewers as an ugly uncle of the 20th anniversary Dopplebock. It had a clear copper color with a thin white head that left some lace. Smelled of buttery caramel. Sweet on the tongue with a complex mixture of alcohol, caramel, molasses, and candy apple flavors. One of the better beers I tried at the festival.
