Commercial Description:
The grain bill for this beer is big, and it calls for over 60% wheat malt. The Wheat malt also helps to contribute to the whiteness of this beer. The high gravity of this beer combined with the suspended yeast give it a luscious, nectar-like mouthfeel. The Yeast are essential to the beer, as they give it characteristic fruity tones such as Clove, Banana, Vanilla, and Bubblegum.

Bottled. Poured mostly clear, lighter golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet, toasted banana and clovey notes with nice balance to it.. just a little too sweet, but I dug it. The flavor found roughly the same.. sweet bananas and vanilla at the core, with white pepper and cloves around.. toasty and spicy on the short-ish finish. Light-ish bodied and well-carbonated.. a touch sharp, but alright feel.

Pours a hazy blonde with some streaky suspended yeast and a fluffy white head. The aroma has some bubblegum, some sulfur and some banana with just a touch of grain. The flavor is mildly minerally in a nice way with some citrus, some spice and a restrained banana character.

12oz bottle, notched on July--either relatively fresh or just got old. Slightly hazy golden with a small white head, not so good retention, though a nice couple finger head does rouse. Plenty of yeast and dusty banana in the nose with some faint lemon that is just a little stale. The flavor is more tart and lemony than the aroma led on, but still plenty of banana and some light spicy cloves are added. Minimal bitterness in the semi-dry finish. Light fizzy carbonation witha watery body. OK. Whoever said that this didn’t resemble a hefe at all is high.
