Commercial Description:
Pale Ale's on the coasts of this country are turning into hoppy monsters, but our beer is more mild, and about balance. It has enough bitterness to match the maltiness provided by the pale malt base. It gets its citrus zing from extensive dry-hopping with Cascade hops. This beer was first made in a few small test batches in 2003. The response was so incredibly positive, that it has worked it’s way into a year round beer. A hoppy IPA in the central plains... how exciting!

Pours a transparent copper orange with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of semi-sweet caramely malts and fresh piny resiny hops. Body starts lightly caramely malty sweet with a crisp bittering and flavor hoppy presence before a crisp bittersweet finish. A decent IPA.

I understand this to be a relabelled version of the later, more hopped Warsh Pail, but if the powers that be think this another beer, so be it. Medium copper colored body with a light khaki head. The aroma has some old musty grapefruit and light bread crust. There is also some nutty character. The taste has some fiarly bitter burnt bread crust with some light orange peels behind that. This has a fairly thin and watery body and flavor.

12oz bottle, courtesy of General_Gao. Thanks, Colin! Pours a hazy, yellow-amber color; light tan head with patchy lacing. Loads of soft flowers and irises and stems in the aroma; very, very floral. Medium mouthfeel: creamy floral and earthy bitter notes; the floral character throughout is quite odd, honestly, and too dominant. Medium finish: breadiness and earthiness, with toasty malts.

12 oz. bottle in standard 16oz glass poured slightly hazy darken caramel, nice off white head that lingered for quite awhile. Aroma of light hops with malt overtone, and grassy notes. Mouth feel has a thin-medium body, Hops are very noticeable but not overpowering. The finish is a bit of sweetness; almost honeylike. Last sampled at Mars Cafe in DSM, IA
