Mar 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours an amber color with a medium size off white head. Aroma of caramel, malt and honey. Taste is lightly sweet with a earthy undertone. Flavors of malt, light hops and nuts. Mild and easy to drink with a light sweet finish.

Mar 15, 2008 I really liked this beer when I had it on tap at the Amana Colonies in Iowa. I later tried some bottled and it didn’t match up very well at all. Slightly sweet and smooth with a nice level of carbonation. Medium malt flavor - very drinkable.

Oct 28, 2007 Not much of a bock, more of a dark lager. Dark gold in color. Moderate malt flavor with minimal hops. Light caramel, and a hint of fruit in the finish.

Oct 24, 2007 Sampled at Badgerben’s Cellar Reduction Night. Pours a clear coppery amber brew with a fast dissolving white head. Aroma of light caramel malt, with a touch of raisin and honey. Taste is semi-sweet, medium bodied with light carbonation with flavors of light caramel, some honey and salt. Finish has a hint of sweetness, some metalic and very light bitterness.

Jun 28, 2007 Sweet malty and honey aroma. Amber color. Flavor is initially sharp but rich. Sweet up front with a bitter finish. Light honey and saltiness. Good even palate, not too thin. Good overall.
