Commercial Description:
Our Maifest is made with 50% munich malt to give it good body and a nice malty after taste. We use plenty of hops to round out the malty flavor with a nice hop bite. With out a doubt, this is the beer to get the drinking months started! Look for it in 12oz 6packs in May and June

I really liked this beer when I had it on tap at the Amana Colonies in Iowa. I later tried some bottled and it didn’t match up very well at all. Slightly sweet and smooth with a nice level of carbonation. Medium malt flavor - very drinkable.

Not much of a bock, more of a dark lager. Dark gold in color. Moderate malt flavor with minimal hops. Light caramel, and a hint of fruit in the finish.

Sampled at Badgerben’s Cellar Reduction Night. Pours a clear coppery amber brew with a fast dissolving white head. Aroma of light caramel malt, with a touch of raisin and honey. Taste is semi-sweet, medium bodied with light carbonation with flavors of light caramel, some honey and salt. Finish has a hint of sweetness, some metalic and very light bitterness.

12 oz bottle thanks to Chris.Pours a amber color with a small fluffed head. Lightly sweet nose and flavors carmel, doughy nothing in depth, and a little on the sweet side, but drinkable still.

Sweet malty and honey aroma. Amber color. Flavor is initially sharp but rich. Sweet up front with a bitter finish. Light honey and saltiness. Good even palate, not too thin. Good overall.
