The beer pours to a nice orangish amber body with a very creamy white head. Lots of visible carbonation. The aroma is interestingly toasted malts, Munich malt, spicy hops. The flavor is toasted/roasty Munich malts, concentrated caramel and burnt brown sugar, spicy hops. Raw malt. The palate is a bit sticky, medium bodied, lingering. barleyPops (1079), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 4, 2006 12oz bottle, notched at the "M" for March. Pours a copper with a tiny off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts and spicy hops. Taste follows the aroma, pretty well balanced, though leaning a little more towards the malts. Also some caramel in there. Very light carbonation--almost flat--and medium bodied. Not a bad brew. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 1, 2006 12oz bottle-orange with a whispy soapy white surface. nose of spicy german hops, munich grains, herbal notes, toasted malts and apples (yeast?). sharp sweet malts dominate the flavor with a mild soapy note in the mid section. some hop accents on the finish dry the beer out. the grainy and herbal notes actually work here. very dry finish, much more dry than i would have expected from a bock. Not bad. vyvvy (2044), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 20, 2006 Clear light copper pour with pillow white head. Aroma is roasted roasted malt with some caramel. Medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Taste is smooth lightly roasted malt with caramel presence. Finish has a lot of the malt and faint floral hops. A nice session beer. wunderbier (1267), Tampere, Finland
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 26, 2005 Dank je wel, heemer77! Lightly cloudy brassy to amber hue with a thin, foamy, white head that’s short lived. Cereal, dark bread, cookie and slightly nutty/grainy aroma. Light and flowery hop profile. Maybe a little bit of brown sugar, but pretty much a straight-forward bock aroma, though it’s a light light on the overall maltiness. Decently sweet with slim bitterness on the backend, but a tingling acidity suggests that a little more care should have been taken with the mash temps and/or times. Light astringency as well. Nice medium body with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation though. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Although this is the weakest of the Millstreams I’ve had so far, it is by no means a bad brew.
The hazy, light amber beer produced an average head of off white.
Light caramel in the aroma.
The flavor was lightly sweet but overall it lacked the body and maltiness that I look for in a good Bock. LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA

I have one called "Millstream Maifest Lager" and neither the Maifest or the Lager have the same pic on the label.... so I am takin a guess. This was pretty yummers. Nothing too exciting, but it was very decent. A good beer to chill with on this fine summer eve. Tastes like carmel and heavy cream. Thin and carbonated.
