| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 19, 2007 Pours a transparent copper orange with a small, frothy off-white head. Aroma of sweet toasty German malts with a touch of earthy noble hops. Body starts fairly full and sweet with some doughy toffee and mild chocolate notes. A pretty good oktoberfestbier. iowaherkeye (1863), Los Angeles, California, USA

Poured a clear copper orange with a one finger fading yellow beige head. Aroma of nuts, toffee, and a bit chocolatey. Taste had some herbally hemp, chocolatey malts, and the toffee is more restrained. Medium body, light to moderate carbonation. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 3, 2007 Whisky-colored with a tan head, this brew had a milky, lagered aroma with a malty backbone. Base flavor is bittersweet and "Märzenish", but there’s not alot to it and its hops turn tinny in the finish. Simply O.K.

A little heavy on the carbonation, but not terrible. Kind of a slight nutty, yeasty flavor. SubstanceT (1090), Saint Louis, Missouri, USA
