Aroma of mild German hops and some pale malt with a touch of hay. Body starts fairly full for the style, but not much sweetness along with some crisp bittering hops. Finishes clean and refreshing, a pretty decent pilsner. Probiere (992), Iowa, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 2, 2007 Against the grain here, with what I thought was a light body to carry off the sweetness and a slightly juicy bitterness that ended only medium dry. An interesting rendition. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 14, 2006 Yellow. Foamy. Sweet aroma and flavor. Rather fruity w/ very little hops. About as close to a real pils as a glass of cola. If I were to try this not knowing it was supposed to be a pils, I’d say it was a bland blond ale. Cornfield (4966), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 11, 2006 This poured a somewhat hazy yellow with little more than a film for a head. The aroma is a fully bready malt that suggests the Bohemian style and has a slight, grassy bitterness to it. This definitely needs a heavier hand on the hopping. The flavor is bready with a splash of honey and a very moderate grassy/herbal bitterness. I’d drink it again.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 10, 2006 Bottle. Smells pilsy; very faint aroma, somewhat grassy. No head. Looks old with an unappetizing hazy light yellow. No lace. Spritzy hop but with some cardboard in the background. The spritzy hop makes this brew. Not bad. jimhilt (1688), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 17, 2006 Pours a two finger, white head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Nearly cloudy, light amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. No nose. Starts hoppy, hints of sweetness, smooth clean finish, better than the macro pilsners. $1.29 for a 12oz bottle from John’s Grocery Iowa City, IA. Best by Feb 15, 2007. Best by April, year??
