| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 17, 2006 12oz bottle-light gold with a soapy white accent at the surface. aroma of lemon, fresh cut tallgrass, but has some citric character that i dont associate with a pils. Its actually quite nice, even though its not really true to style. lots of hop presence in the flavors with a nice light malt base to even out the balance. full body with a silky mouthfeal. This could become a session beer for me. Tmoney99 (4767), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Medium bitter flavor with a light bitter finish. Solid drinkable beer. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 8, 2006 Pours golden with a white head that drops quickly. Light husky malt aroma. Medium to light mouthfeel with light carbonation. Husky grainy malt taste. Finish is spicy hops that leaves a tangy bitterness. This started off okay to be, but my the end I was enjoying it. A pils worth trying. iowaherkeye (1860), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 17, 2006 12oz, bottled in May. Pours a clear straw with a tiny white head. Smells citrusy, grassy, and grains. Taste is fairly grassy and biscuity, clean hops--not too bitter at all. Thought I had already rated this one, but I guess not. uglyblond1 (174), Nebraska, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 9, 2005 First let me start off by saying that this is more of a Kolsch than a pilsner. I think that I would like to rate this as a Kolsch. Brilliantly clear, soft quickly fading head. Decent carbonation. Mild hop aroma and bite. This is a great example of a German Kolsch. As for a pilsner, drier and more hops. Check out Schwelmer and you will find a good export German Pilsner.
