| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 19, 2007 Pours a transparent bright golden with a clingy-lacing frothy white head. Aroma of mild German hops and some pale malt with a touch of hay. Body starts fairly full for the style, but not much sweetness along with some crisp bittering hops. Finishes clean and refreshing, a pretty decent pilsner. ¾ (5009), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 6, 2008 On tap at an Amana restaurant. Has a big, bulky and thick white head on top of a lively, bubbling yellow body. First taste is sharp but thick, with frothy yeast and pillowy, dense foam overtaking the senses. Full, extremely fresh and lively, with some perfumy hay and lemon notes throughout. Grainy, almost vinegar sharpness at times up the nose, it’s a very well-made fresh and delicious pils that I imagine loses some life in bottles. A really, really good pils.
