Aroma of roasted malt and a touch of sweetness. Hits the mouth with a medium body, the malt tastes a little old, some hops on the finish. Smell: Altogether mild aroma of toasted malts with light notes of apple and flowers.
Taste: Toasty maltiness with a mild sweetness and a hint of red apple peel. Vaguely floral hop character with little bitterness provided. Crisp finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.

Amber body with decent head. Flavor was sweet bitter to start with. Flavor got more of a malted caramel from middle to finish with a sweet mild bitterness aftertaste. Decent brew and first from Iowa rated.
