Commercial Description:
Subtle aromas of roasted malts blend seamlessly with the addition of Sumatra coffee beans as it sits within the dense tan head. Medium brown in color, when held up to the light, it shows a fine clarity with garnet highlights. The Dryness and light body of this beer is offset by the slick mouthfeel of the coffee’s oils.

It pours somewhat clear, a dark russet wtih some cheesy off-white head. The aroma is very light, with only a bit of roast malt and some caramel. The flavor is dry and roasty, with a strong rich roast coffee presence that lasts. Hint of an earthy hop flavor balance, and a coffee astringency lingers a bit.

Draft at Millstream Beer & Chocolate tasting event. Poured a dark brown color with a tan head. Smelled of subdued coffee and a bit of hay. The was a distinct coffee flavor accented by hints of chocolate and hay. Medium bodied and dryish. Good beer.
