Commercial Description:
Our Warsh Pail is a hoppy pale ale that we make with plenty of cascade hops from the west coast. We decided to name it "Warsh" Pail Ale because its from the midwest. We don't say wash around here...we say WARSH. Its one of those words that gives Iowa its local flavor, so we though it appropriate to name a beer after it that also is full of local-ness.

12 oz bottle-trade w/pepsican. Pours a hazy copper color w/no head. Slight hop aroma, Flavors of hops, some sweetness, a little bit of an earthy, metalic flavor. Trace of citrus. Pretty good brew, easy to drink, not overpowering. Long hop finish. Thanks Andy!

Medium to larger head with a touch of foam that diminishes very quickly. This beer has a very hoppy nose that is mirrored by its flavor. Wash pail is a descriptive title for the over all body and presentation. I think it’s an “alright” beer.

Slightly hazy copper amber color, topped by half an inch of creamy off-white foam. Okay head retention, nice sheets of lacing at first - these become spotty later on. Soft and gentle carbonation. Moderate sweet malt in the aroma - no hops evident. Very enjoyable caramel maltiness up front - sweet and a bit earthy. Blends well with a hop bitterness that is there primarily for balance. A little honey-like malt sweetness and an almost citrus hop character in the finish and into the aftertaste. Smooth and drinkable - well made.

Bottle: The aroma consists of fruit, caramel, and cardboard. It pours a hazy amber with lots of sediment and a small white head. The flavor starts with moderate caramel with a hint of fruit. It finishes with oxidized citrus hops.

Mild citrus, bland aroma. Golden with a lasting head. Sharp hoppy flavour with some carmel notes. Bitter front to back, with very little room for balance.

Clean balance of malt and hops in aroma. Bitter with some malt, little hop flavor. Bottle appears to be oxidized, papery finish.

An unclear dark orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is slightly hoppy, but also with a slight note of butter. The flavor is quite light with notes of dusty hops and a bit of butter. I find it boring.
