Commercial Description:
A true "Flussiges Brot" or liquid bread. Malted wheat is carefully blended with the traditional malted barley, and brewed with special hops to create a "Summer Fest" beer. Light and zesty in itself, the beer is served in a tall glass with a slice of lemon.

Bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Light sweet wheat aroma. Light body with smooth texture. Light sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. Another drinkable summer brew.

(12 oz bottle: Obtained 11-Nov-05 in trade with Ughsmash, thanks Jason!) The date notch on the label is between March and April, so I’ll go with April. Not too much going on here, which makes it a typical American Wheat beer. Light wheat flavor, slightly sweet, with a bit of mild citrus and very gentle bitterness. What little flavor there is disappears in a hurry. The nose is lightly grainy, but that’s about it. Light bodied, watery in the finish, pretty standard carbonation. Pale golden color and fully clear in appearance. Small, white head fully dissipates within a few minutes. While the overall flavor is inoffensive, I find the lack of any character, any flavor that’s even remotely interesting to be somewhat offensive. Just because it’s a wheat beer doesn’t mean it can’t have flavor. I might just as well drink a glass of water and not waste precious calories.

Pour is golden with little carbonation and little head. Aroma is lightly toasted wheat malt. Mouthfeel is smooth with light carbonation. Taste is very light with some of the toasted qualities of the aroma. There is a bit of graininess to the mouthfeel. An unobstrusive beer that would be fine during a meal or conversation, but not a whole lot going on with this one.

bottle-light yellow with a fizzy white head. grassy, husky, sweet pale malt/toasted grain notes-clean and crisp with no adjunct notes what so ever. flavors match the aroma-lots of husky malt notes. very crisp and easy drinking light "lager"? i would be good for a hot midwest day.

Bottled notched on May. Poured a lighter and slightly hazy golden color with a smaller sized white head. Light aromas of wheat. Tastes of watered down wheat and light lemons. I really didn’t get too much out of this one. I think I’ll cut my loses and take a few more sips on the way to pour this one down the drain.

Wow, 30th to rate this, cool beans. Poured a pale straw color, mid white head. Nose was sweet, malty. Taste was actually pretty sweet. Finish dry. Not bad for a wheat. thanks for the trade heemer77.

12 oz bottle from Brennan’s Country Store in Brookfield, WI. Very very light blonde body with thick bubbles sticking to the glass, very little head...light, sourdough-yeasty nose, touch of old lemon....body is fairly clean, refreshing, innocuous, sour at the front with honey sweetness entering at the middle, clean but boring sweet-sour finish...quite a decent, respectable, refreshing beer that just isn’t interesting enough for me to remember or buy again.

12oz bottle via trade with heemer77 - Thanks Eric! - Pours golden with not much head at all. Aroma of wheat, a bit of yeast and not much else. Flavor about the same. Palate is light and watery with very little carbonation. Not much happening with this one..
