Commercial Description:
A true "Flussiges Brot" or liquid bread. Malted wheat is carefully blended with the traditional malted barley, and brewed with special hops to create a "Summer Fest" beer. Light and zesty in itself, the beer is served in a tall glass with a slice of lemon.

Bottle from West Lakeview Liquors, Chicago. Clear, light yellow with fizzy white head. Sweet bread malt and a little yeast. Flavor is much the same with some citrus and graininess. Thin, watery and fizzy body. Easy drinking but not anything exciting.

Bottle courtesy of Degarth. Thanks! Pours a slightly hazy straw color. Pale wheat aroma. No bitterness to speak of. Slighly spicy bready taste. Moderately sweet. Very watery.

Pours golden and effervescent with a mostly receding off-white head. Aroma of bready pale malt, clean lager yeast. Taste is lightly grainy, notes of wheat, bready, toasted malt. Medium to full bodied with lively carbonation. A drinkable and malt-centric wheat lager.

Smells very wheaty. Flavor is also pretty wheaty. Light and stringy with a bit of funk.

Small bubbly head with a nice looking light amber beer. Lite yeast smell but nothing else. I disagree with ketchepillar, I dont think its a thin palate as much as thin on flavor. Its like carbonated water with just enough sugar in it to not be bitter. If you serve with a slice of lemon as suggested you would taste only lemon. I like these guys and there beer but this one didnt make the mark. Sorry guys, I hate to down on my home state beers.

A bit thin on the palate. A crisp decent tasting wheat. Goes pretty bland and watery in the finish.

Bottle from trade with ketchepillar.
Poured into a weizen glass with a light gold color and a quickly dissipating white head. Very bubbly looking. Smell is wheat, honey like malt and maybe a hint of cardboard. Taste is smooth honey sweetness, a bit wheaty, with crisp carbonation. Very simple, a bit sweet, but goes down easy when cold. Not bad at all.

Clear yellow with a very thin white head. Smells like homemade popcorn. A couple extra points are given here because this smell reminds me of a childhood snack favorite. Flavor is average - a hint of that citris lemon flavor in there though. Overly carbonated palate. Overall, nothing very exciting about this.
