the same straw color as the pilsner. head is white, kinda creamy, slightly frothy. decent wheat malt aroma with similar flavor. not that interesting, but not bad,

12 oz. bottle from ketchepillar- poured into shaker- poured pale yellow, medium carbonation, white head quickly floated away. Aroma of wheat notes, yeast, and a dull orange undertone. Hits the mouth with a thin body, while it is crisp, no hops can be detected at all. Odd.

Pours mildly hazy gold with weak white head. The light aroma has a dollop of sweet smelling malts, a wheatish tone, faint yeasty spice and noble hop spice. The taste begins with a bit of sharpness from the carbonation punctuated wheat twang followed by spice hops and mild malt sweetness. The sweetness builds up somewhat into the finish with lingering muted hops.

Sample at the brewery tasting room. Unfiltered yellow color, proper appearance for a wheat. Sweet lemon grass and wheat flavor up front, a bit sweeter than most, but overall it’s light, clean and simple, very pleasent and without glaring defects. Some cereal grains show up over time, and some husky straw/hay flavors come off very crisp and lively. I can see this being a great drink in the summer when fresh.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Golden, a bit hazy, with a white head. Aroma of some malt, a bit of yeast, a bit of wheat and hints of hops. Sweet flavor with a bit of sourness - some malt, yeasty notes and hints of fruits. Finish is a bit drier. Light-bodied. Quite refreshing, but nothing more.

Appearance: Pours a clear golden body with a scant, short-lived white head. Smell: Weak aroma of dried-out lemon wedges and wheat crackers. Taste: Brief wheat flavor with a mild sweetness. Spritzy lemon kick. Subtle yeastiness. Finishes fairly clean. Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Mild carbonation. Drinkability: It’s alright considering it is just a light wheat ale.

Beer pours a filtered golden color with a quickly dissipating head. Lacing lasts throughout. A slightly grainy and hoppy aroma. Taste has a slight flavor of banana, hops are more prominent than typical wheat beers. Great carbonation and light to medium mouthfeel. I could drink these all night. This is not what I usually look for in wheat beers and am usually skeptical of american style wheat beers, but I really enjoyed this one and will be coming back to it again.
