Commercial Description:
A true "Flussiges Brot" or liquid bread. Malted wheat is carefully blended with the traditional malted barley, and brewed with special hops to create a "Summer Fest" beer. Light and zesty in itself, the beer is served in a tall glass with a slice of lemon.

Beer pours a filtered golden color with a quickly dissipating head. Lacing lasts throughout. A slightly grainy and hoppy aroma. Taste has a slight flavor of banana, hops are more prominent than typical wheat beers. Great carbonation and light to medium mouthfeel. I could drink these all night. This is not what I usually look for in wheat beers and am usually skeptical of american style wheat beers, but I really enjoyed this one and will be coming back to it again.

12oz shorty bottle. Filtered thin orange-tan color. Mild non-aroma. Light malt sweetness, easy drinking. Pretty spot on, fresh and highly enjoyable. Definitely a US wheat beer, not going for German Hefe-duplication. Very nice minimal, but crisp, hop balance. An excellent beer.

Soft and light canary yellow color, frothy foamed bright white head about a finger high emerges, fizzes away rather quick and leaves a small collar; small spotty lacing drips back in. Aroma is faint and drab but clean and semi-crisp of wheat bread sweetness and softer bubblegum notes. Taste is soft and semi fruity with a nice wheat malt sweet base, crisp, clean, subdued bready softness and drying quality in the finish. Feel is soft and semi sweet, lighter bodied and clean, yet keeping a firm malt base making for a creamier and smoothing slick drinkability.

Very light golden pour. White, quickly dying and mostly diminishing head. Very few bubbles rising from the bottom. First taste was watery. After that it had some hops came out. Dry finish following the harshness on the way down. I don’t know what to expect from this style but this one simply wasn’t flavorful.

Rather pleasantly surprised by this one. Brilliant gold, with spritzy carbonation. Bit of citrus on the nose. Nice crisp wheaty flavor. Quite clean and refreshing. A very decent lager.

NO real aroma but a very nice even bread taste...Nothing too overpowering. Wish it had a little more flavor....but a damn good beer overall.

Bought these near the brewery on the advice of a friend. Sparkling gold with little head, quickly gone. Aroma is of yeast and maybe cinnamon? Yeasty, malt flavor with a hint of copper pennies. Didn’t get to try it with orange or lemon, but I bet it’s good. Not a big fan of wheat beers in general, this is ok.

Sample at the brewery tasting room. Unfiltered yellow color, proper appearance for a wheat. Sweet lemon grass and wheat flavor up front, a bit sweeter than most, but overall it’s light, clean and simple, very pleasent and without glaring defects. Some cereal grains show up over time, and some husky straw/hay flavors come off very crisp and lively. I can see this being a great drink in the summer when fresh.
