Shared a sampler that had this in it. The color was medium brown and it had a large hoppy smell. Hoppy flavor which, thankfully, didn’t linger like it does with most hoppy beers.

sampled in may at Milly’s and just found my tasting notes on this one. Aroma is lightly fruity and malty. Taste is caramel malts, like fruity esters, with a light hop bitterness in the finish.

Pint at the brewpub, has a nice copper color with a off-white head. Not very famialr with this style of beer, but have had a few in the past. Smells of bready malt, slightly sweet and hops, maybe a bit spicy. This one has a great bready malt flavor and nice hop balance. At first I thought it might be too bitter, but after a few sips I was very pleased. Good body, bitter and sweet and highly drinkable.

On tap at Milly’s. Sizable creamy head, a beautiful amber color... some nice lacing on the glass. Flavors of malt, caramel, and a light hop finish. Medium body, crisp and refreshing, a great beer without a doubt. Probably very easy to have too many of these.

[tap @ Milly’s] Dark amber color- poured with a solid head. Aroma is kind of sweet and hoppy- flavors are huge malts, some caramel sweetness and a slight bitter finish.

cask-pours a head that’s white foamy bubbles with cloudy orange color. Aroma is citrus hops. Taste is citrus hops, sweet fruit, floral, secondary malt, mellow. Nice.

on tap-pours a creamy light tan head. Color is amber, a little darker than Red Tail. Aroma is malt & hops. Taste is malt, then plenty of hops. Crisp. Good carbonation.

On tap at Milly’s Tavern. Big thick head on top of a dark copper color. Piney aroma. Bitter with a very smmall amount of lingering aftertaste.
