KariCupcake (215), Lenox, Massachusetts, USA Nov 13, 2006 Shared a sampler that had this in it. The color was medium brown and it had a large hoppy smell. Hoppy flavor which, thankfully, didn’t linger like it does with most hoppy beers. hophead75 (1732), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Oct 30, 2006 sampled in may at Milly’s and just found my tasting notes on this one. Aroma is lightly fruity and malty. Taste is caramel malts, like fruity esters, with a light hop bitterness in the finish. tonyc603 (43), New Hampshire, USA Oct 5, 2006 Pint at the brewpub, has a nice copper color with a off-white head. Not very famialr with this style of beer, but have had a few in the past. Smells of bready malt, slightly sweet and hops, maybe a bit spicy. This one has a great bready malt flavor and nice hop balance. At first I thought it might be too bitter, but after a few sips I was very pleased. Good body, bitter and sweet and highly drinkable. DarkMagus (412), San Jose, California, USA Jul 25, 2006 On tap at Milly’s. Sizable creamy head, a beautiful amber color... some nice lacing on the glass. Flavors of malt, caramel, and a light hop finish. Medium body, crisp and refreshing, a great beer without a doubt. Probably very easy to have too many of these. LyndaNova (470), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jul 14, 2006 May 2006 - On tap at Milly’s Tavern. Copper colored ale with a creamy ivory head. Aroma is slightly sweet. Quite malty with a fair balance of bitter taste.
