puboflyons (589), New Hampshire, USA Sep 21, 2009 On tap at Milly’s in Manchester. It pours a golden yellow color with a bubbly white head It looks pretty much like it should. The aroma wafts in malts and the mouthfeel is kind of creamy. The taste is mainly malts and sugar but also a bit bready and de-emphasized hops. Not my first choice at Milly’s but it has a character of its own. Dickinsonbeer (3434), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Feb 15, 2009 Tap at brewpub. Pours a light straw gold with a thin white head. Aroma is light and corny grits, slight dms and ligth grassy vegetal hops- and farily cleand and refreshing finish. beermansteve (12), , New Hampshire, USA Jun 27, 2008 Since Milly’s doesn’t carry any commercial beers, and they brew all of their beer’s on site, this is their obvious answer to the bud light/coors light/miller lite choice. Although it has more flavor than commercial light beers, it is an easy drinker and a pub favorite hophead75 (1945), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Oct 30, 2006 sampled at the brewpub. Rather clear straw colored beer. Muted malts and grain in the aroma. Taste is lightly malty, with some grain and a very light amount of balancing hops. made for the macro crowd, this is much better than the typical light american beer. tonyc603 (43), New Hampshire, USA Oct 19, 2006 This is sort of the "is what it is" beer at Milly’s. It’s designed for the Budilleroors crowd and is a good attempt to convert them. Straw in color with a large white head, look a lot like a macro lager. The aroma and flavor are much different though as this is an ale. Slightly hoppy and malty aroma, not as clean. Flavor is balanced, but there’s not much here.Bready malt, something you don’t pick up in macro lagers.Overall this is a great starter beer for someone you’re looking to switch over but I doubt I’ll find myself ordering another one. LyndaNova (492), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jul 22, 2006 On tap at Milly’s Tavern: Pale gold in color with very minimal alabaster head. Aroma is subdued - very light floral fragrance. Light body. Tastes lightly sweet and bready. Almost lager-like. Excellent light beer. No aftertaste. DarkMagus (433), San Jose, California, USA Jul 18, 2006 Very light aroma of malt and grains. Light flavor of malt and grain, consistent with the aroma. A thin, watery beer... but refreshing and crisp with good carbonation. Not really my thing, but I love to see that Milly’s has produced something for the macro/college crowd. BitchesBrew (710), Berkeley, California, USA Jun 28, 2006 [tap] Pours a clear yellow color- flavors are mostly grainy sweetness. Certainly a beer for the macro crowd, but very well done.
