| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jul 22, 2006 Updated: Sep 27, 2006On tap at home: Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a fluffy ivory head which eventually dissipates to mostly bubbles around the edges. Aroma is of yeast and grass with notes of spice and lemon. Taste is mostly sweet; with light grains, lemon and very soft bitterness. Mildly carbonated. Palate perfection. Ending is short but sweet with fine notes of sour and bitter. *Either it’s the glasses we use at home or Mike has perfected this Hefeweizen! Thank you so much, Mike! This beer is fabulous!*

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 19, 2006 I always ask for this type of beer without a lemon, this time I forgot, so I ordered a second pint and drank the lemon one after I was finished with the non-lemon...everyone follow that? Cloudy golden color(lots of nice yeast still in there of course),with a nice firm white head. Aroma is wonderful, nce banana, and a bit of clove, though not the bubblegum some people say. Flavor was well balanced between the malt and the yeast, not much for hops here.Slightly sweet and refreshing with a hint of citrus to go along with the banana and clove. The body is fuller than some hefes but it doesn’t make it less drinkable. hophead75 (1964), Boonton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 30, 2006 on tap at the brewpub. Hazy light golden. Aroma is banana, clove, wheat. Taste is banana, some spices and yeast, light tart finish. Good hefe. Volgon (2490), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 16, 2004 On tap at the brewpub: Cloudy yellow/orange with a thin white head. Banana and clove in the aroma, full bodied, starts and ends sweet with a touch of acidity, banana aftertaste. Watch out, they will try to stick a lemon wedge in it unless you tell them not to. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 18, 2006 Pours a glowing, hazy yellow color. Head starts out strong, eventually leaves a nice layer on the top of the beer. Flavors are expected of the usual Hefeweizen- lemon zest, sweet wheat and subtle spices. Finishes with a touch of vanilla and bubble gum. Though not my favorite style, this is extremely drinkable. jcwattsrugger (5578), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 8, 2006 Aroma’s weren’t particularly strong, though the environment (smoky brewpub) may have affected things. Poured a hazy amber orange (not simply "yellow")...head was decently foamy, but faded surprisingly quickly for a hefeweizen. Flavors weren’t too complex or unusual: wheat, yeast, banana, clove, citrus. I wished there was more to this one, although I did enjoy it (as with nearly all hefes. I will definitely drink this again and again... (until it’s gone)...
