Millys Tavern Heidelberg Hefeweizen

On tap at brew pub, plus brought a growler home. Pours a hazy yellow with a foamy white head. A steady stream of bubbles make their way from bottom of glass to top. Aroma is classic hefeweizen, with banana, cloves and wheat. Flavor is same as aroma, pretty simple. Palate is moderate in body with sparkling effervescence. A nice summer brew. Clean and refreshing.

Excellent german beer. My wife is not too keen on wheat beer, but still enjoyed this. Does not leave after taste as many weizen beers do. Of quality found at local brewers in Germany vs. grocery store beer. Light and refreshing in the evening.
