<i>A Mes rate: Cask at the Pembury.</i><br />Golden brown with a thin white head. Nice American style hops in the aroma. Full of grass and very sniffable. Fairly bland in the flavour. Hoppy with some nice fruity notes. Almost strawberry. Prickly hop finish. Straight down the line but decent session stuff.

Cask handpull at Pembury Tavern, London. Gold, lasting off white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Simple golden citrus bitter. Some yeast, some malt on aroma. Pretty decent. OK hop on finish.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Hazey yellow, with a head which is quickly gone. Some glucose sweetness, then a slightly grainy and peppery bitter/dry finish. Aftertaste is a tiny bit smoky. A little insipid, though fairly aggressive for a golden, or is it a dry wheat beer? Syruppy smooth mouthfeel, though overall I like this less, the warmer it gets.
