Aug 16, 2008 (Cask at Pembury Tavern, Hackney, London, 5 Aug 2008) Amber colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with notes of mandarin, orange, apricots and fresh hops. Fruity taste with orange, mandarin and fres notes of citrussy hops in the finish. Nice strong ale with a lovely hop character.

May 14, 2008 Gravity, Banbury beer festival. Bright gold, translucent white head. Black current, black berry, a bit of husky grain. Light marmalade and berry sweetness, a little thin for all the sweetness, and kind of hot. Not quite up to the usual standards for Milton.
I had this on the Thursday of the festival. I wonder if it settled down and mellowed by the time Fin and Glen had it? Have to find it again...

May 11, 2008 Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’08. Copper gold with white head. Full with a strong alcohol note, heavy body with a slight roasted background. There is a dry fruitiness, almost apricot in the beer, as is usual with Milton beers, really well brewed to deliver the hop notes which were dry and spicy. Not bad at all.

May 10, 2008 Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival 09-05-08 Pours warm gold with a tiny thin white head, warming sweet honey flavours, spicy hops this is really rather nice although it can be just a tad cloying at times, still an impressive beer and reminds me just a little of Oakham.

Apr 14, 2008 Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Copper amber. Delightfully sweet malty aroma. Fruity taste with pear, apple and other luscious stuff. Gentle bitterness. Unsubtle, yes, but very enjoyable..
