1FastSTi (2551), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA Apr 5, 2006 Pours to a lightly hazy copper penny colored body with a creamy white head. The aroma is a light peach and caramel malt. The flavor is bitter English hops and toasty malts. Nice English hoppy bitterness. Good malt flavor. The palate is medium bodied, nice creaminess and a velvety mouthfeel. The body has substance and is filling. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Feb 28, 2006 Hazy orange-amber body, medium frothy white head. cascae-hoppy aroma - just grapefruit really. Resinous grapefruit flavor with appley yeast and malty caramel sweetness. Teh finish has this rindy bitterness along with a dry huskiness. Medium mouthfeel. Good clean, stron ghop elements. JPDIPSO (4864), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Feb 27, 2006 Dark golden with a touch of haze. A mild aroma with some dry malt and floral hops. Dry and unassuming in flavor as well. Mild dry malt with a again some floral hops, but also a touch of herbal hops that are more foreboding. A dry finish that envelops the malt and helps the sweetness evaporate. A brew that’s is easy to quaff and actually slightly dangerous as it could be thought of a session ale. TheDean (785), MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Feb 17, 2006 Described by our waitress as a bitter IPA. The description was dead on. On first sip, hops overwhelm your mouth, but as it goes down you are left with a dry bitter taste that is quite enjoyable. A lovely beer that made my afternoon at work a little more tolerable.
