1FastSTi (2551), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA Nov 12, 2007 Also known as Big Louie. I had this on cask. Pours to a hazy chestnut amber body with a lasting creamy white head. Sticks to the glass with the best of them. The aroma is graham crackers, bitter hops, almond marshmallows. The flavor is sweet clean toasted malts, toffee, iced tea. The palate is subtle and very easy drinking. Casking almost makes it light bodied and dangerous because it’s so seemingly light but has a decent alcohol content. JPDIPSO (4863), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Nov 5, 2007 LIght brown orange color with a full thick bodied off-white head. Aromas of toasted malt and nuts. Hints of hops with a mild spiciness also in the aroma. Full bodied in feel as well. Lots of malt character With toasted bread, caramel and pecans in the flavors. Some hints of warmth, but does not come off overly strong. A nice full autumn type brew.
