Commercial Description:
Our lightest ale brewed with a generous dollop of Wisconsin honey and pale malt. Before gas streetlamps, Milwaukee's nightlife consisted of dank saloons and rough and ready backroom bars - Street lighting brought into vogue a more refined social life. The shift from dark barrooms to airy beer gardens was mirrored by the new choice of beers as Milwaukee began to thirst for lighter, cleaner, more refined beers.

Beery and refreshing. On draft. Light amber, clear with no head. Hop bitter at end. Actually has a nice aftertaste. Better than I expected, a well balanced and drinkable light beer.

It is a light lager. yellow color. Very light malt and hops with a thin palate, and it isn’t terrible for a light yellow beer, but I wouldn’t have tried it if it did not come with the sampler.

Pours a light golden colour and a medium white head. Has a pretty malty taste. grainy and slightly watery it lacks a solid body and reminds me of something very similar to an MGD.

A fair beer. Very light in the nose. The palate is a light, floral honey with a bit of vanilla and a hint of banana in the finish.

Sampled at the brewpub on 6/25/07: Pours a transparent bright golden with a clingy-lacing web of white foam. Lightly grainy, earthy semi-sweet pale malty nose has a hint of floral honey. Body starts fairly thin and light with a touch of flowery sweet clover honey and Vienna malt toward a mildly bitter and drier finish. Light and drinkable, but bland.

pale hazy gold, fine white head, drippy lace, light sweet honey aroma with light floral hops, well blended sweet malt and honey flavor, light lingering bitterness keeps the balance and adds the best character this beer has going for it,

My wife likes this beer, which isn’t something that can be said about many of the MAH choices. People are confused about the use of "Lites" in the name, though, and expect it to be something waterier or maltier than the bitter aleness of this beer. It’s a good summertime beer.

This is a nice golden colored beer with a pleasant honey aroma. I found it surprisingly dry and somewhat bitter. It was light and easy to drink. A great summertime beer.
