I found it surprisingly dry and somewhat bitter. It was light and easy to drink. A great summertime beer. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 29, 2007 This is a light and crisp ale that pours hazy amber. The nose and mouth shows some of the honey note sweetness and the finish is crisp and somewhat clean. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 26, 2007 On tap @ the brewpub: Clear gold with a white head. Aroma, grassy and some pale malts. Flavor, light crisp malts, some bready notes, and some grassy hops, didn’t get much honey out of it. But it wasn’t bad. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 11, 2007 This golden pour smells of wheat and tastes sweet and bready with touches of honey. It is a nice simple beer to drink with a light meal. Ughsmash (4037), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 20, 2007 On tap at the Ale House. Poured a clear lighter golden with a dusting of white head and some lacing as it went down. Aroma was of sweet pale malts and a bit of honey.. not much to it, and nothing that really made me want to drink it. Dry bready and pale malts in the flavor.. slightly astringent.. dry and empty for the most part after the initial taste. Light-bodied with low bitterness... unnecessarily dry across the middle. This one can be avoided. GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 22, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear gold color with thin white head that left only a bit of lace. Not much in the way of aroma other that a whiff of grainy malt. The commercial description says it is made with honey. I seldom smell or taste the honey in such beers, and this one is no exception. There is a pleasant cereal grain flavor which lingers a bit, but this one is a snoozer otherwise. Bockyhorsey (2543), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Aug 6, 2006 Sample @ brewery. Aroma was like pasing the malt house on I-94 in Milwaukee. Flavor was ordinary and not much better than another well know Milwaukke beer. LePoopie (151), Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 5, 2006 Tried as part of a beer sample at the Milwaukee Ale House. Has a slight, , pretty good malty aroma. Nice hazy golden brown body with a white head. Slightly bitter flavor, it’s pretty good. Decent body and carbonation. Overall, I think this is pretty good if you’re looking for a light beer.
