Commercial Description:
Our lightest ale brewed with a generous dollop of Wisconsin honey and pale malt. Before gas streetlamps, Milwaukee's nightlife consisted of dank saloons and rough and ready backroom bars - Street lighting brought into vogue a more refined social life. The shift from dark barrooms to airy beer gardens was mirrored by the new choice of beers as Milwaukee began to thirst for lighter, cleaner, more refined beers.

Pours to a hazy golden body with a thin white head. There is little aroma. Light barley and pale malt. The flavor has a decent malt and light honey/hops. Not very exciting but definitely better than anything Miller has to offer! Good beer for those mainstream drinkers.

Tap: standard golden pale color, aroma has some saaz skunk to it. Flavor has a little honey with the skunk. Finishes crisp and dry.

On tap at the Milwaukee Ale House Brew Pub. Poured a light to medium golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas and tastes of light honey and light wheat. Medium sweet. Thinner body.

One of the better light beers that I’ve had, for what it’s worth. Like a traditional pale lager with character. Not much body or bitterness, and the dash of honey goes a long way to making it stand out above other light beers. Some hops complement a yeasty finish, which then thins out as you let it fall back down your throat.

golden color w/ a thin well laced head.. bairly able to smell anything but smelled a little stale, the palate was very thin & carbonated. flavor was a touch of sweet malts w/ a bad milleresque finish. Overall another light beer that I wont drink.

I had this on tap at the brewpub and I have to say that for the light offering in a brewpub, I thought this was a very solid beer. Pale gold with very little head but good lacing on the glass. Clean taste with noticable honey sweetness and some hop bitterness in the finish. Very solid for the standard light brewpub beer.

Light amber color with little head. Kind of a dusty aroma. Taste has a hint of honey and wheat, but not much else. A bore.
