Commercial Description:
Our lightest ale brewed with a generous dollop of Wisconsin honey and pale malt. Before gas streetlamps, Milwaukee's nightlife consisted of dank saloons and rough and ready backroom bars - Street lighting brought into vogue a more refined social life. The shift from dark barrooms to airy beer gardens was mirrored by the new choice of beers as Milwaukee began to thirst for lighter, cleaner, more refined beers.

Crisp smooth taste, nice finish. This is my favorite light, although calling it ’light’ is a joke. This is nothing like American light beer.

Light golden color with a fairly thich white head. Light dry aroma of honey with a touch of hops. Slight wheat sweetness in the taste along with pale malt. Dry honey aftertaste. A decent light but, the other selections are tastier.

mmmm...sampler platter. I usually start with the lightest beer and go dark, and tonight was no exception. Smooth with a bit of Hopsey/honey taste.

I had this on tap at the brewpub and I have to say that for the light offering in a brewpub, I thought this was a very solid beer. Pale gold with very little head but good lacing on the glass. Clean taste with noticable honey sweetness and some hop bitterness in the finish. Very solid for the standard light brewpub beer.

Went to this place to celebrate the anniversary of "TheDean"'s 21st birthday. Wouldn't have normally bought the light beer, but I got the sampler, and was pleasantly suprised. It had a fantastic honey scent. Had a nice honey taste too, lightly hopped. Smooth beer, with a slightly bitter finish.

On tap @ the brewpub: Clear gold with a white head. Aroma, grassy and some pale malts. Flavor, light crisp malts, some bready notes, and some grassy hops, didn’t get much honey out of it. But it wasn’t bad.

One of the best "starter beers" at a Midwest brewpub! Light, malty and crisp, the honey comes through in the aftertaste without making it sappy and oversweet. A beautiful pint of beer, much like the photo but maybe a bit lighter.

Tried as part of a beer sample at the Milwaukee Ale House. Has a slight, , pretty good malty aroma. Nice hazy golden brown body with a white head. Slightly bitter flavor, it’s pretty good. Decent body and carbonation. Overall, I think this is pretty good if you’re looking for a light beer.
