JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Jan 28, 2008 Cask. Hazed dark golden color with a moderate cask type pour head. Dried flowers and light caramel aromas. Light sweet malt start taken back by herbal and floral tastes mid swallow. From sage to roses, rosemary and honeysuckle, just a lot of herbal going on in this one. Nice smooth feel. A touch of malt returns in the finish along with a bit of dried wild flower herbals. An interesting herbal/traditional brew. 1FastSTi (2551), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA Jan 27, 2008 This was on cask. I didn’t get much info on it either. Pours to a lightly hazy amber body with a nice dense creamy tan head. It’s either Solomon Juneau or the Pull Chain Pale Ale brewed with Heather Blossoms (perhaps via a honey?). Smelled like heather when I was in Scotland. Very floral aromas and flavors. I liked the malt base it had as well. Works quite well. Given the casking, it was very soft due to the lack of good carbonation. I was happy with drinking this one. Duellist17 (34), Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jan 25, 2008 I believe this is their Amber brewed with heather leaves. Served on Cask, this ale is quite tasty! Sweet Floral Notes with low carbonation served a cellar temperature. I would have had a few more if I had the time!
