Aroma of stale hops, weak malt, wet straw, and skunkiness. Likely a weak pale gold color. Thin, watery. This is bad. yobdoog (1436), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

Aroma is there and there is minimal flavor but an existing caramel malt base. Not as awful as I expected. $2.99 a sixer! grizzwaugh (1), USA does not count | 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | May 28, 2009 This is a great beer- almost of an amberbock lite flavor. We drink this daily and very rarely have headaches or hangovers. Plus it is cheap- tastes great- no bad afteraffects. The best thing on the market. cheapbeer187 (8), Clarksville, Indiana, USA does not count | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 5, 2009 what people often forget is that you get what you pay for..... Yeah its 11.29 for a 30 pack cold, and it will get you drunk. The flavor is not all that bad, really. Decent to me for a filler beer ( by which I mean the swill you drink after a few good beers). jimmack34 (567), Lancaster, Ohio, USA

Pale ubiquitous yellow rolling, for the most part, sparkling visible carbonation. Initially, not bad on the taste buds considering my previous experiences with melanie. Aroma is rather processed. Pretty good tingly carbonation on the palate. Does have that typical cheap city brewing flavor, must be the water they use out there. Rather coarse background, just barely acceptable finish. On par with the light but this is just a little more personality, but not in a negative way. Found this to be a little more enjoyable than the light version. unclemike (834), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA
