I live in the heart of serious deer hunting country where 30 packs of this come on sale right about now. In the spirit of free experimentation as I sampled other so designated lights, I picked up a can. I am probably the only person in the county who has ever bought just one can of this and I caught hell from the clerk, but she rang it up anyway seeing as I was buying quite a few beers. Anyway, i tasted the can, mostly, and something like vegetable oil or really old sweet corn, you know, mushy and yellow. But it’s hard to say. All was very faint. Still, I can’t say it was hideous or disgusting in the way that some ill made brew-pub brews are. Myabe I’ll have to start rethinking how I rate stuff like this.

This is undoubtedly one of the worst brands of cat piss I’ve ever consumed. I’m not even very picky. I can drink Coors Light which is damned by everyone I’ve ever talked to but this...

Actually better than the regular. Somewhat refreshing - in the same way that water is - becuase that’s basically all that it is. None of those silly hops to get in the way! At least it os not skunky or metallic. The more cheap beers I drink - the more I realize that they are just as good as the supposed Kings - they just do not have the huge advertising budgets that the bigs have.

Although this stuff tastes cheap, its a lot better than regular Beast, as it doesn’t have that poisonous metal taste to it. Can be refreshing if no other beer is in sight.

How can it be any lighter than the Beast?
