Taste of bubble gum, orange, honey, "sugar in the raw." Then I catch a nice sweet wine thang. This one pretty much puts you through the wringer before settling into a nice fizzy, alcoholic honey buzz. BBB63 (4229), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 19, 2005 On tap: Hazy golden hue with a fizzy but lasting head and good lace. Ther aroma has notes of pear and apricots, candi sugar, honeycomb, bready malts, and a hint of mint, very floral. The taste starts sweet and fruity and that continues through out the palate. The finish display some malty layers and a woody touch. The feel is lively and slightly sticky, not has heavy as some dubbels but not thin either. Quite drinkable for the alcohol level. Yet another very good speciality brew from Mishawaka Brewing, I hope they keep it up.
