Toasted malt aroma with a rather strong coffee presence. Coffee, caramel, chocolate in the flavor, with a smooth, coating mouthfeel. Dry finish just as intended. Good example of a dry stout. It’s roasty and toys with astringency which could ruin it on any given day. Deep black body, with a finish like a black piano key. Has a sour, almost Belgian smell to it, but that’s evident nowhere in the palate. A fine beer, the one to have if you’re here and only can have one. mj23 (63), south holland, Illinois, USA

Some dryness in the flavor but there’s an apple fruitiness that turns me off. Thanks to BBB for sharing! heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA

Teh taste has grilled porkchops. Porkchop sammiches!! Also some walnuts with a full malty backbone. Gets a little bitter at the end. jsquire (2107), St. Marys, Ohio, USA

Dark beer with a raw grain nose with some chocolate in it. This tasted a little like under done home brew to me. Sweet with out a lot of character. Some bitter chocolate and soured raw malt. Pretty average beer. 11026 (1799), Alabama, USA
