Nitro pour at the brewery. Poured a deep brown with a solid tan head. Toasted malt aroma with a rather strong coffee presence. Coffee, caramel, chocolate in the flavor, with a smooth, coating mouthfeel. Dry finish just as intended. Good example of a dry stout.

Draft, Nitro pour. Very much a dry stout. It’s roasty and toys with astringency which could ruin it on any given day. Deep black body, with a finish like a black piano key. Has a sour, almost Belgian smell to it, but that’s evident nowhere in the palate. A fine beer, the one to have if you’re here and only can have one.

Black body, light tan head. Nice coffee roast aroma with subdued fruity notes. Some dryness in the flavor but there’s an apple fruitiness that turns me off. Thanks to BBB for sharing!

Sampled from a bottle and I liekd it a lot less this time. Green apple notes with nasty cheap coffee in both the flavor and aroma. Very thin offwhite head. The body is black with a hint of red highlights. The aroms is roasted coffee and nuts. Teh taste has grilled porkchops. Porkchop sammiches!! Also some walnuts with a full malty backbone. Gets a little bitter at the end.

On tap at Mad Anthony’s Octobeer Fest. Dark beer with a raw grain nose with some chocolate in it. This tasted a little like under done home brew to me. Sweet with out a lot of character. Some bitter chocolate and soured raw malt. Pretty average beer.

Tap. Dark-opaque in color. Tan head. Good lacing. Aroma of roasted grains. Body is thinnish. Sour in taste as the sunrise ale.
