its an average IPA. The Aroma, appearance, flavor and palat are all average. not bad at all, but not especialy memorable. Previous users are correct about its fizzyness. It is unusualy fizzy. That may not be SOP for IPAs but it makes this beer unique in its catagory and i think its nice.

Appearance: Pours a very light amber body with a full, fizzy-looking white head. Smell: Aroma of weak caramel malts and musty grains with a dry grassy scent. Taste: An all too brief caramel sweetness that flashes to a sharp citrus hop flavor and ends with a bitter, lightly acidic finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Unpleasantly fizzy. Drinkability: Calling it an average IPA would be a bit of an overstatement. Could greatly benefit from a fuller, more refined palate and far, far less carbonation.

Pours a very effervescent orange bronze with a large, airy white head. Nose of earthy, peppery, piny hops and some mild caramel malt. Body explodes on the tounge with lots of CO2 and a mildly sweet candy corn and caramel flavor with some lightly citric bittering and flavor hops toward a slightly drier, bittersweet finish. Needs some more balance and refinement, but could be a good IPA.

Just had a bottle straight from the brewery that had been kept refrigerated and the carbonation wasn’t as aggressive and the beer was relatively fuller overall. My score reflects the fresh bottled version.

Pours a golden amber body with a sustained rocky head that laces heavily. Not a bad aroma, orange blossoms and grapefruit over a malty sweetness. The malts have little character in the flavor, which is balanced more like an APA than an IPA. The hoppy bitterness, which does linger nicely, tastes of grapefruit, citrus pips, and unripe orange peel. Okay.

Draught at the brewpub. Appeared dark gold, clean, clear, with an off-white head that would lace the glass. A weak mildly floral hops aroma. Sweet. A sweet hops flavor of grapefruit. Not bad.

Greeat big giant off white stoney head, maybe I poured too fast. Really nice copper appearance. Faint citrus in the aroma, this came through in the flavor as well, but only slightly. This beer reminds me of a girl I used to date (nice to look at, but not much else going on).

Its better than I thought it would be. Orange in color with a little too much head. Maybe mine was a little shook up. Scents of Pine and citrus are present but not as strong as you would expect for an IPA. Ditto that on the taste. Citrus and bitter hops on the finish. Just not hoppy enough for an IPA. Its decent, probably better than most the ratings woud suggest.

Bottle from Chalet Party Shoppe in Goshen, IN. Pours a translucent amber- orange with a nice eggshell head. Upon pouring, the aroma is perfumy hops. As the head dissipates, the aroma is more hints of tea and malt. Medium carbonation, with a slightly watery texture. Initial flavor of mild caramel and bread, countered by a citrusy hop bitterness. Bitter finish with hints of pine and tea. Pretty average.
