Bottle. Sweet orange, grapefruit and pine hops aroma. Golden amber with nice big head. Lightly sweet malt flavor initially that is quickly overtaken by the bitter pine hops - hops flavor crescendos with the maximum bitterness coming right after swallowing. Hops a bit harsh but otherwise a decent beer.

On tap at Mishawaka. Served in a pint glass. This beer poured an amber color with a very small beige head that left some faint lacing. Aromas were pine and light citrus. The flavor was fairly light and balanced, with notes of grapefruit. This beer was medium bodied, leaving behind a very quick bitter finish. A middle of the road IPA.

12oz bottle pours amber with a pretty nice offwhite head and quite a bit of lace. Aromas of grapefruit, some pine and some bready notes. Flavor is lots of grapefruit and floral notes with some definite bread behind it. Honestly not much caramel just bready notes. Decent amount of carbonation from the somewhat fizzy palate that takes away a little from the brew. Fairly refreshing though and not really all that bad.

Bottle: Pours a clear copper with a thin white head. Aroma, citrus hops, some bready caramel notes behind it. Flavor, very thin, odd harshly bitter citrus, and some burnt notes. Not bad, the aroma is nice, but it doesn’t come together well. Palate is just weak, this and lacking any real kick to it.

Pours an awesome looking clear copper color. Decent white head. Great lacing. Strong hop aroma with a slight burnt smell. A somewhat thin mouthfeel with no malt presence at all...all hops. I cannot place the hop variety in this but I do not like it. It actually tastes like the aroma; burnt hops. I drank a Stone IPA after this and thought I would get some good hop flavor. Nothing...this Indiana Pale Ale is very agressive. Overboard for the style. While some of these comments might sound good, it’s not a good beer by any measure. Decent price point.

bottle - Pours light copper with a substantial head and nice lacing. It has a mild grapefruit hops aroma. The flavor is obviously quite hoppy, but doesn’t seem to have enough malt backbone to balance it well. The body is on the watery side. I was wondering if it’s an old bottle, but I see I’m not the only one to have this opinion. It’s okay, but the style could certainly be done better.

Light yellow with a bubbly head, this beer has a strong citrus, passion fruit aroma and a strong, bitter-hop flavor. Similar flavor qualities to the aroma. Good beer, but a little light on the mouthfeel for my tastes.

Classic IPA pour with great retention and lacing. The hops are bright enough in the nose, but a layer of ether seems to linger in the background. The body is rather cluttered with bready malts and sweet hops and the overly prickly carbonation doesn’t help anything. It really just intensifies the bitterness and further disperses the flavors. Everything is there, but it just doesn’t seem to come together.
